Game Development Contest discussion, entries, and other related materials.

Tyler and I have decided to hold another competition, this one about who can make a better Media Tracker. The media tracker would keep track of books/movies/games you've read/watched/played, what you would rate each of them, what category they are in, and other nifty features we can think of.
Anyone else who wants to join the competition can. Unless it is postponed, the challenge entries will be due at 8:30 on September 29th (Monday morning).

I'll do it... why not? Although I hate to go back to Java now... otherwise, I would have to do all that OS-specific stuff.

If I can get something in, I'll do it. Mr. Rose will let me do it in class, right? Atrus wrote:I'll do it... why not? Although I hate to go back to Java now... otherwise, I would have to do all that OS-specific stuff.

I thought of something that seemed like a good idea. We could use people as 'testers' for our programs, and all they have to do is be sworn to secrecy till the contest ends. Unless someone objects, I'm probably going to start having people test mine tomorrow, or possibly Friday.

Actually... I'm going to have no time to do this. So never mind.

Due to Tyler's behindness, I've agreed to a delay of the contest till 8:30 AM Wednesday. I don't think anyone else will mind, especially given I think that at most there is only one other person still doing the contest.

Since I finally got around to paying attention, I have moved this to the "Contests" section. (Its now called "Contests" instead of "Contest" for a reason), since this isn't really an off the wall discussion.
